Large Plantation Shutters installed in Celbridge, Kildare. These shutters were installed on the outside of the window frame. These are called Z type of frames. This means that shutters are installed a bit further away from the window than they would be if you had an L type of frame. There is a mid-rail in the shutter which is used to separate the shutter into separate parts. This is mostly used to match the structure of the window.
