How do you dress windows in a kitchen like this? 

We recently fitted these gorgeous café-style shutters in this beautiful round kitchen in Delgany, Co. Wicklow.

It’s such an unusual space, with the windows following the shape of the kitchen, so we wanted a finish that wouldn’t hide what makes the room so special.

The customer chose Silk White café-style shutters, covering the lower section of the windows while leaving the top completely open. They give the room privacy where it’s needed while still allowing all that lovely natural light in from above.

And I think they look absolutely gorgeous. 

This is one of those installations where the shutters really feel like they were made for the room.
