We fitted café-style shutters across three separate windows in the living room in this beautiful Sandymount home. By covering only the lower section of each window, the shutters provide privacy from the street without blocking the natural light entering from above. This makes them an ideal solution for Georgian homes, period properties and street-facing living rooms where privacy is important, but covering the full height of the window would be a shame.
The customer already had roller blinds recessed neatly above the windows, so there was no need to remove them.
