Think an awkward or sloping window means you can’t have shutters? Have a look at this one. 

We recently fitted these beautiful solid wood shutters to this large shaped window in Castleknock, and this was certainly not your standard installation.

The shutters were made to follow the slope of the window, including the slanted panels you can see being closed in the video.

Finished with 89mm louvres and easy tilt rods, they’re completely functional while still following the unusual shape of the window beautifully.

Jobs like this are exactly why getting the measuring and design right matters. When shutters are properly made for the window, even an awkward shape can have a gorgeous finished result.
