Bathroom and Bedroom Shutters for a Georgian Home in Sandymount

We fitted shutters in two bathrooms and a bedroom in this lovely Sandymount home. We used a mix of café-style and full-height shutters.

Café-style shutters worked particularly well here in the bathroom with the free standing bath. They cover the bottom half of the window, giving privacy around the bath, while the top of the window stays open and lets in plenty of daylight.

This style also suited the Georgian look of the house. The original windows are still a feature of the room and the shutters do not take away from their character.

For the other bathroom and the bedroom, we fitted full-height shutters. These give more privacy but the louvres can still be opened or tilted to let in light. The different shutter styles work beautifully throughout the home and look like they have always been there.
