We fitted these Beach White shutters to an L-shaped bay window in this lovely living room in Wicklow.
The before-and-after photographs show just how much the shutters changed the room. Bay windows can be awkward to dress because of the different angles, but shutters are made to fit each section of the window. The finished result is neat, balanced and really suits the style of this room.
We included a divider rail in the shutters, which helps support the height of the panels nicely. The louvres can be adjusted to manage sunlight and provide privacy without losing all the natural light.
Shutters are one of the best shading solutions for bay windows, particularly unusual designs like this L-shaped bay. Such a classy finish — they look more like part of the room than a window covering.
