Plantation Shutters fitted in Cabinteely

These 89mm lovers plantation shutters were fitted into this house in Cabinteely last week

We’ve mounted the shutters directly onto the French doors so as they pivot in and out with the doors meaning the shutters don’t have to be moved just to operate the door. We’ve also installed a custom cut-out around the door handle allowing for unobstructed door operation.

These shutters have been installed using our ‘easy tilt’ louvre operation. This is where there is no visible operating rod installed to move the louvres. There is a hidden mechanism built into the side of each shutter panel, which link all the louvres together. This way, when one louvre is moved by hand, all of the rest of the louvres in the panel will move as well .
