Large Plantation Shutter’s fitted to a large glazing area in Ratoath

This very large plantation shutter was fitted to a large glazing area to a property in Ratoath Co Meath recently.

This shutter has become a real focal point in this room now.

We’ve installed our large 89mm louvres which work well on particularly large windows.

Taller shutter panels must also have a midrail ,seen here about a third of the height up on each panel. This strengthens the shutter panels and also gives more function to each panel as there are separate groups of moving louvres above and below it. We’ve actually installed 2 groups of lovers above the midrail on this shutter which means there are 3 separate groups of louvres on each panel. This gives huge function to the shutter allowing the owner lots of different privacy and light control options.
