Sandwood Estate homes… this is exactly where shutters shine 

We recently fitted solid wood shutters in this gorgeous home in Portlaoise — and it’s actually our second installation in Sandwood Estate, which we’re delighted about.

The house has very tall windows and French doors, so we fitted split tilt throughout to give the best day-to-day control: you can keep the lower section closed for privacy while still letting loads of light in from the top. We used a mix of 89mm and 76mm louvres, all finished in a clean silk white.

We’ve been doing shutters and blinds since 2010, and it’s the repeat work and word-of-mouth in areas like this that we’re most proud of.
